Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – December 30

Mad Hatter

Downtown doesn’t need an addiction centre near a food bank, near local small businesses, on the door step of residents home. Yes, we need an addiction centre but it needs a better location. Better planning for the location is essential.

Mad Hatter

to the person saying the PM has 2 nannies. Sorry he does not. Only has 1 that is full time & she is only paid $45,000/year as of July 15/18. That’s less than $22. approx. on a 40 hour week, 24/7. The other politician’s big $900,000 expense has been on our tax dollars! Them Conservatives know how to spend a million on getting ONLY elected to be a leader. Cough/cough.

Happy Hatter

CHRISTMAS.

Mad Hatter

So disappointed in the Christmas spirit at work. It’s usually such a fun time but today it feels… depressing.

Mad Hatter

That’s what Downtown needs! More efficient parking enforcement. That’ll liven the area up and attract business to last few remaining retail customers…. Words fail me.

Mad Hatter

To the commenter who made a ridiculous comparison about a local business not supporting the supervised drug use… You’re so far removed from reality it hurts! They roast coffee and don’t want their hard work affected by drug users driving away customers. They’re not selfish like you and the users. They don’t want users to die!!! They just want to have a safe Downtown. I think the supervised use centre is the worst idea this country has ever had but what would I know…? I only drink coffee and beer and don’t try to end myself on opioids. Should we facilitate other illegal activities so people don’t get help? How about drink driving courses at the college? Or may be CP could run a special train just to hit cars on crossings. Look at Lethbridge and Calgary, their problems need not be Med Hat’s… We have enough here already.
