Tigers acquire Perna from Winterhawks

MEDICINE HAT, AB —The Medicine Hat Tigers have acquired their second player through a trade this week.
The team announced Thursday afternoon that Portland Winterhawks defenceman Nick Perna is joining the team, in exchange for a fourth round bantam draft pick in the 2020 WHL Draft.
Perna, who was born in 2001, was signed as a free agent by Portland last year. He played 47 games with the Winterhawks, scoring one goal and recording 11 assists.
