Nov 12, 2019 | 12:00 PM

Rocky View County, AB — Three men from Calgary have been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting at CrossIron Mills Mall in September.

Dakota Bolton, 25, Carl Schuyler, 25 and Jari Manner, 37, were arrested on November 10 following an investigation into a shooting in the mall’s parking lot on September 16.

The male was shot near the food court entrance, and was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The mall was locked down for several hours while police investigate.

RCMP say they cannot provide any detail about the motive for the shooting, but the investigation indicates it was a targeted incident.

Bolton is charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, disguise with intent, using a firearm while committing an offence, using a firearm without having a licence and failing to comply with a recognizance.

Schuyler is charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and failure to comply with a recognizance.

Manner is charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder, along with two charges of failure to comply with a recognizance.

All three remain in custody. Manner is scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial Court on November 12, while Bolton and Schuyler are set to appear in court on Thursday.
