Poor Road conditions in and around Medicine Hat

Medicine Hat, AB–Snow, wind, and falling temperatures are causing some problems on roads and highways around Medicine Hat.
RCMP are advising motorists to avoid travel on Highway 1 as 4 vehicles have hit the ditch between Brooks and Bassano due to icy conditions.
Inside the city, a truck hauling an RV slid off the road and ended up on it’s side in the ditch.
It happened earlier this afternoon on Highway 1 near the Box Springs Road on-ramp.
Alberta Transportation has crews out across the province working to improve road conditions.
