LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is inviting the public to the now-former Adams Park Ice Centre for a special renaming ceremony.

It will be dedicated to Logan Boulet, a local teenager who was one of 16 people who died in the 2018 Humboldt Broncos bus crash.

City council voted on April 1st, 2019 to change the name, “commemorating the impact Logan has had on Lethbridge as well as recognizing the life-changing impact the Logan Boulet Effect will continue to have for years to come.”

Mayor Chris Spearman, Councillor Blaine Hyggen, and Logan’s parents Toby and Bernadine Boulet will be on hand for the ceremony on Saturday, October 26th.

The renaming ceremony will take place at 2:30 at Logan Boulet Arena at 1203 9th Ave North.

The public is also invited to a ceremonial puck drop for the Midget AAA game against Edmonton’s Knights of Columbus Pats at 3:00 pm.
