I do not want a certain climate activist to visit Medicine Hat due to the attention that it will bring. Because of the attitudes and opinions of our public figures, the whole world will assume everyone here is a moronic climate change denier.

Upset that the media didn’t have all candidates in paper/tv this week before advance voting starts thanksgiving weekend.

Car dealerships, phone companies etc. have to learn that no one can afford to work on commission alone in this economy. We need guaranteed wages not guesswork if we can afford our bills month to month. Your turnover rate won’t get any lower at that standard.

At the terrible customer service experience I had over the weekend with a moving company in Redcliff. Rented a trailer from them and were told we could bring it back when they opened the next morning without being charged. We were charged. When I called to ask why, the guy told us we were five minutes late unhooking it. FIVE MINUTES, even though we got there when they opened, which is what we were told to do the day before.

Corporate Retail companies are too stingy to pay the workers they have and instead keep hiring more people? Then get mad when workers look for jobs elsewhere. Even though the companies themselves make a billion in a year and can definitely afford to pay their workers (who are not managers!) but oh then they might not get their big bonuses at the end of the year and I’m sure those CEOs REALLY suffer.

So thankful for the nice weather this week! October is always hit or miss, but it looks like there might even be good weather for the trade show! Fingers still crossed though…
