Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – October 7

Oct 7, 2019 | 3:32 AM

Mad Hatter
Mad at all the semi-trucks running red lights on the highway in Redcliff, and Saamis Drive leaving the Flying J. They don’t even try to slow down; they just go and do what they want. It’s bad enough that I need to look both ways even if I have a green light. Come on, where are the MHPS and RCMP?

Mad Hatter
I’m usually not interested in politics since ALL of them just talk to hear their heads roar. If you shake their hands you better count your fingers. Could somebody please run as a cheeseburger, I’ll vote for you!

Happy Hatter
Thrilled that a couple of old bags at work will never get promoted.

Mad Hatter
Sad that when you go and visit someone, they can not even ask how you and your kids are. You are the most neglectful person ever and it is no wonder why everyone is struggling.

Mad Hatter
Kudos to the neighbour who reported a noise complaint this week. If you aren’t savvy enough to know the difference in noise between a diesel pusher and a carpet cleaning van, maybe you should look out on the street before you report someone. Hope you feel like a fool. Also, the street is not your property and we have followed bylaw guidelines.

Mad Hatter
That the city decided that Saturday at 5pm would be a good time to start painting the lines on Dunmore road. I’ve been in cities that do this sort of thing at night, or at 10 in the morning when traffic isn’t so heavy. Whoever made that decision should have realized no one knows how to drive when there is construction. We saw multiple people go through red lights just because there was a backup. A red light is a red light.

Mad Hatter
Disgusted with the immature dictators that vandalize political signs/property. Grow up & act your age, not your shoe size.

Mad Hatter
It would be really nice if someone would just do their job and stay out of the media. Your attention-seeking, narcissistic behaviour has gotten old. Feed the hungry instead of your ego for a change.

Mad Hatter
That a local car dealership gave me the runaround, was dishonest and caused more stress and problems because they were too lazy to do their jobs. Due to their incompetence and unprofessionalism, we won’t be doing business there again.

Happy Hatter
Glad we have an entertaining WHL team in Medicine Hat, but I guess I feel like a “confused Hatter”. People will drive all the way out to shop at Costco and wait in line for gas for 45 minutes, then later, complain about the location of the Canalta Centre when encouraged to attend a hockey game.

Mad Hatter
Was at a grocery store that offered Self Checkout, the older lady beside me asked for a staff discount since she’s scanning her own groceries. First of all, no one is forcing you to use self-checkout, you’re just too impatient to stand in line. Second of all, that joke is getting old. I felt bad for the employee.
