Voter information cards mailed out

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Residents of the Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner riding should be receiving their voter information cards in the mail in the coming days.

Elections Canada announced Monday they had started mailing out voter information cards to all registered voters in Canada.

The cards provide information to registered voters about when and where they can vote during the federal election. Elections Canada says bringing the card along with your identification while voting will make the process easier.

Elections Canada says if the information on the card is not correct, or you don’t receive the card, your voter information may not be up to date. You are able to check and see if you’re registered to vote online, or update your mailing address here.

To make any other changes, contact the Elections Canada office in your riding. The riding office for Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner is located at 939 Kingsway Avenue Southeast. There is also an Elections Canada office located in Cardston at 71 2nd Avenue West.
