Three vehicle collision sends one to hospital with minor injuries

MEDICINE HAT, AB — One driver was taken to hospital following a three vehicle collision in Crescent Heights Monday morning.
The collision occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m., and involved three vehicles travelling north on Division Avenue Northwest at the 8th Street Northwest intersection.
According to a release from police, a Ford truck slowed for traffic at a red light, and was hit from behind by a Kia Sorrento and a Chevrolet Impala that followed.
The driver of the Sorrento was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The drivers and occupants of the other two vehicles did not report injuries, police said.
