MEDICINE HAT, AB – The waiting game for a Tesla Supercharger station has been ongoing for months in Medicine Hat, however the location has been up in the air.

Posts on social media this week are now indicating the station could be established in the city’s south end.

A Tesla user on Twitter named ‘NKutty’ posted a number of photos of the alleged Supercharger station, which is at the corner of Southlands Crossing on Strachan Road.

The tweet has since been picked up by the Saskatchewan Electric Vehicle Association who added ‘Really awesome to see this progressing!’

At least six separate stalls have been identified, while a public notice posted back in May listed an electric charging station at 1941 Strachan Road SE.

CHAT News contacted Tesla on Monday, however they said it wasn’t their policy to promote Supercharger stations or give detailed location information before they’re up and running.

Tesla did confirm a Supercharger station will be coming to the city at some point in 2019.
