MEDICINE HAT — Power has been restored to about 26 hundred electric utility customers, after a transformer and power pole burned this morning.
Fire crews were called to 2111 9th Avenue S.W. around 5:30 this morning.
They put out flames quickly and city electric crews were right behind them, de-energizing the line and moving power to other lines on the Kin Coulee feeder.
Power was out in parts of the southwest and southeast Hill neighborhoods, and the south flats.
