Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – September 12

Sep 12, 2019 | 2:14 AM

Mad Hatter
City workers have been working outside our house for a few weeks. It’s amusing how 8 guys show up and only 3 of them do any work! Must be nice to get paid to stand around smoking cigarettes and playing on your phone all day watching 2 or 3 guys do all the work.

Happy Hatter
Thank you to the Mayor of our city. I know he gets a lot of grief, but he’s always had Medicine Hat’s back. He has a love and passion for this city that shows. To all the naysayers & critics – give the guy a break and try looking at the good side (of anything) once in a while. Thanks, Ted, for all you do for the city and yes please do keep your day job (bus driver is not your specialty)

Mad Hatter
It’s that time of year when parents drive their kids to the school bus stops.

Mad Hatter
The SPCA organization is a joke. Not just ours. The people at the top have no idea how to run shelters or handle animals. The people who work there just like playing saints even though they’re the laziest most selfish people. They don’t listen when people tell them one of their animals is unhealthy. I feel to work/manage any sort of field/rescue/store etc involving animals you should have some kind of certification or degree in animal sciences not because you had enough to buy your way in.

Happy Hatter
Would be happy if it could stop raining. We went straight into fall so quick, I’m ready to turn the heat on in my house!

Happy Hatter
Love the café on North Railway – such great sandwiches and homemade fries! Yum!

Mad Hatter
You can really tell the difference between someone who loves their job for the money and someone who loves their job because they love what they do. Some people need an attitude adjustment.

Mad Hatter
Very angry and disappointed to see how the elderly lady was treated at the 13th Ave grocery store when she fell down due to poorly marked wet flooring. Management was less concerned about her condition (clearly in distress and pain), and more concerned about her signing a waiver to avoid a lawsuit. Needless to say, I will never shop there again, and would rather go out of my way to shop elsewhere because of how they handled the situation.
