MEDICINE HAT, AB — Four members of the Medicine Hat Tigers are heading to NHL rookie camps next week.

The team announced Wednesday morning that James Hamblin, Ryan Chyzowski, Mads Søgaard and Brett Kemp will be on their way to rookie camps following the completion of the Tigers training camp this weekend.

Søgaard will be joining the Ottawa Senators for the camp. He was drafted by the Senators in the second round of the 2019 NHL Draft.

Hamblin is going to the Toronto Maple Leafs’ rookie camp. The Tigers centre was also at a Maple Leafs’ development camp earlier this summer, where he suffered a knee injury.

Kemp will be joining the New York Rangers for the camp. It’s his second appearance at a Rangers camp, after being invited to a development camp this summer.

Chyzowski will be part of the Winnipeg Jets camp.
