Two Hatters injured in suspected stolen vehicle crash
Taber, AB – Two Medicine Hatters were seriously injured early Sunday morning after losing control of a suspected stolen vehicle near Taber.
Taber police say an officer with the service observed a 2010 Chevy Silverado driving in an erratic manner on Hwy. 36 shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Hwy. 3.
The vehicle was westbound on Hwy. 3 when the driver of the vehicle accelerated, entering the centre meridian which caused the truck to lose control and roll several times, coming to a stop in the eastbound lanes, according to Taber Police.
The suspected 21-year-old male, believed to be the driver, was transported to Lethbridge and then airlifted to Calgary in critical condition.
