City working with consultant and contractor to get project back on track

MEDICINE HAT — An unexpected delay has developed in the infrastructure improvements at the Kinplex.

The city is working with a consultant and the contractor to find a solution.

In the meantime, events scheduled for the Kinplex will be accommodated at other facilities in the city.

So far, the project has seen a new ice surface concrete slab completed.

New arena boards and player benches and improvements to spectator areas are still to come.
