MEDICINE HAT — Motorists will be facing detours around a few more road projects over the next few weeks.

Work has started on replacing underground storm sewers and resurfacing the Dunmore Service road between Carry Drive and Park Meadows Drive S.E.

Fencing is up around the work zone, but access is open to local businesses along that stretch.

The project is scheduled to be completed by the middle of September.

Meanwhile, resurfacing of two roads is beginning today.

Crews are removing the top 50 millimeters of asphalt on 4th Street S.E. from McLeod Trail to 5th Avenue.

They are also doing the same work on Hargrave Way North West, from 7th Street N.W. to Herald Drive N.W.

Once the top surface has been removed a new top coat of asphalt will be laid down starting on Monday.
