CYPRESS COUNTY, AB — A train derailment on the west side of the Hamlet of Irvine along the north side of Highway 1 in Cypress County has closed Highway 1 between Highway 41 North of the Hamlet of Walsh
The previous detour route north of Walsh and Irvine using Range Road 12 and Township Road 132 has been closed.
The public is advised to avoid all traffic in the area, and expect delays for east and west bound travel until available access road open again.
It’s unknown when the roads will re open.
