MARKHAM, Ont. — Police say one person is in custody after four bodies were found in a home north of Toronto on Sunday afternoon.

York regional police did not say what charges the 20-year-old man in custody might face.

Investigators say they were called to the home in Markham, Ont., just before 3 p.m. because of reports that people may have been injured.

They say officers met a man at the front door and found the four bodies inside.

The deceased have not yet been identified, and there was no immediate word on their ages or genders.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything of note in the residential neighbourhood where the incident happened to come forward.
