Minor Football Family Fun Day scheduled for Saturday

MEDICINE HAT, AB —The Medicine Hat Tackle Football Association is trying to encourage families to try football for the first time.

A Minor Football Family Fun Day is scheduled for Saturday at the Methanex Bowl.

The event comes as the Tackle Football Association has reported a decline in youth registration numbers.

The day will feature obstacle courses, a touch/flag football tournament, a punt/kick/pass competition, equipment seminars and alumni on hand to answer questions about football.
