Medicine Hat Public Library receives grant to upgrade children’s area
Medicine Hat, AB – At a free BBQ that saw over 500 people, the Medicine Hat Public Library announced that it has received a $74,300 “Community Spaces” grant from South Country Co-op.
That money will be going towards upgrading the children’s library and creating a developmental play space.
Chief librarian Ken Feser, says that the space, which is set to start construction in late fall, will include a two level play castle for kids to be active, as well as play stations, a giant tablet for games, and new seating.
