The cost of diapers, clothes and toys all quickly add up.
 
However, for couples dealing with infertility, the costs are even more staggering.
 
A single attempt at in-vitro fertilization can cost thousands of dollars, an added burden for those already facing so many challenges.
 
Ashley Barnes and her husband Dart Barnes have spent more than $13,000 on their IVF journey. 

Fortunately, they have friends who have helped them along the way.
