Three from Lethbridge facing drug trafficking charges
MEDICINE HAT, AB — Three people from Lethbridge are facing multiple charges following an investigation into alleged methamphetamine trafficking last week.
According to a release from the Medicine Hat Police Service, officers received information about a drug trafficker from Lethbridge allegedly supplying methamphetamine to dealers in Medicine Hat on April 17. Investigators set up a deal, and arrested three people from Lethbridge on April 18.
Police seized approximately 14 ounces of methamphetamine, and also seized break in tools and a small calibre rifle. According to the release, the street value of the drugs seized is approximately $37,500.
