COALDALE, AB — Coaldale RCMP have announced charges against a 27-year-old Lethbridge man in connection with a collision in November last year.

According to a news release sent Wednesday morning, RCMP have charged Logan Drake with three counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm, one charge of possession of stolen property over $5,000 and one count of obstruction.

The collision occurred on the morning of November 12, at the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 845, and involved a Ford F-150 and a black Chevrolet truck. The Ford, occupied by a man and woman in their 70s, was travelling southeast towards the U.S. Border, while the Chevrolet, which had two males and a female in their 20’s inside, was travelling north on Highway 845. According to RCMP, the Chevrolet allegedly failed to proceed safely through the intersection of highway 4, and was struck by the Ford.

The occupants of the ford were taken to hospital with minor injuries, while the female passenger of the Chevrolet was transported by STARS Air Ambulance with serious head and internal injuries.
