Three from Lethbridge charged following Taber RCMP investigation

TABER, AB — Three people from Lethbridge are facing several charges following a theft from a business in the MD of Taber last week.

On September 10, Taber/Vauxhall RCMP responded to a report of a break in at the business, where several items were stolen. Property that was stolen was listed for sale online out of Lethbridge three days later.

RCMP applied for a search warrant at a Lethbridge residence, and arrested three people without incident.

Stolen property, including items stolen from the business, were recovered and returned to their rightful owners. In addition, drugs and a stolen firearm were also seized by police.

Daniel Chrysler, 38, was charged with 16 offences, including possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of a weapon obtained by crime.

Dakota Parker, 21 was charged with 15 offences including possession of stolen property, fail to comply with conditions and careless use of a firearm.

Megan Laube, 28, was 16 offences, including possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking.

Laube was scheduled to appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court on Thursday, while Parker and Chrysler are scheduled to appear Friday in Lethbridge Provincial Court.
