Medicine Hat golfer victorious in Lethbridge over weekend

LETHBRIDGE, AB — A Medicine Hat golfer finished at the top of the standings during a junior tournament over the weekend.

Ryan Hodgins of Medicine Hat took home first place in the Juvenile Boys division (15-16) at the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort in Lethbridge.

Hodgins finished with scored or 74,65 (139), helping erase a three stroke deficit. He finished seven strokes ahead of Hunter Thomson of Calgary, who finished with scores of 74, 72 (146).

Five golfers from Medicine Hat participated in the tournament. Caleb Kinch, Nolan Burzminski and Sam Bratvold competed in the Juvenile division. Kinch finished in a tie for fourth place, Burzminski finished tied for ninth place, and Bratvold finished tied for 26th.
