Warriors’ Barrett Sheen suspended five games for hit on Joel Craven

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A member of the Moose Jaw Warriors has been suspended for a hit to the head of a Medicine Hat Tigers player during a recent game.

Barrett Sheen has been handed a five game suspension for a check to the head to Joel Craven during Saturday’s game at the Canalta Centre.

The hit occurred during the second period. Sheen received a five minute major and a game misconduct.

Craven was helped off the ice by two teammates and did not return to the game. He is currently listed as week-to-week with an upper body injury.
