INTERVIEW: Clouston reflects on storied, record-setting career

MEDICINE HAT, AB — It happened Wednesday night at the Canalta Centre.

The Medicine Hat Tigers first game back from the Christmas break hosting the rival Lethbridge Hurricanes.

With 40 minutes in the books, and the Orange and Black sitting on a goose egg, head coach Shaun Clouston sent a strong, sturdy message to his team during the intermission.

Whatever he said was enough to wake his squad up from their turkey coma, and score four goals in the third period for a 4-2 victory. History was made.

Clouston added another victory to his resume, totaling 323 all-time in his eight seasons as head coach of the Tigers. It matches a franchise record set by Willie Desjardins through the 2000’s.
