HomeSense confirms it’s coming to the Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Officials from HomeSense confirmed with CHAT News Thursday that they will be opening a store here in Medicine Hat.

Renovations are currently underway in the Medicine Hat Mall to make was for some new stores and changes to the food court.

HomeSense says they have signed a lease but as their retail space is still under construction they aren’t sure exactly when the store will open, or how many staff they will be hiring.

A spokesperson for the company said they will be releasing more details on the opening in July. The store may be open as early as August.

With a regional customer base of over 75,000 people the spokesperson said Medicine hat, was a good choice for them.
