A new year and perfect time, not for just a resolution, but for a commitment to bring your “A” game to your amazing race.

Listen to the Your Life, Unlimited podcast and learn about the power of words and focus.Your Life, Unlimited with Stephanie Staples and Tim Hague Sr.

Father and son team, Tim Hague Sr. & Tim Hague Jr. were the winners of the inaugural season of Amazing Race Canada and Tim Sr. was my guest on Your Life, Unlimited on CJOB this week.

As a Parkinson’s activist Tim Sr. overcame the odds when he went from a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease to—just three years later—becoming the winner of CTV’s The Amazing Race Canada. Tim’s inspiring message of strength and courage will motivate you to meet life’s challenges.

After a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease, this Registered Nurse decided that he wasn’t going to take his diagnosis lying down, in fact he is planning to be back into marathoning this year. His word is perseverance, not only to get them through the race but to live as healthy a lifestyle as possible despite (and maybe even because of) his diagnosis. How can you use that word to shape your year?
