Clout – by definition can mean social power or influence, but today I had a great conversation with online tech guru and  co-author of the newly released book from McGraw-Hill, Klout Matters (www.koutmatters.com), Mr. Terry Brock.

You know how some people you just like and connect with instantly, well Terry is one of those people. On his recent business trip to my city, I was fortunate enough to sit down and have a chat and within minutes I knew I had to pull him over to the CJOB studio and interview him so that I could get him to share his brilliance with all of you!  Which he did so willingly and joyfully. Terry shared his personal secrets for success, which he boiled down to S.E.M.:

1) Study – always be on the path to personal and professional growth, don’t stagnate – you’ll get stuck.

2) Exercise – even if it’s just a little bit, do something physical every day.

3) Meditate – Do something to be still and quiet your mind.
