Born and raised in Ajax, Ontario, James began his media career in the world of print after completing the Photojournalism program at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario in 2014.
After working for two years at the Lloydminster Meridian Booster in Lloydminster, Alberta, he transitioned to the newsroom at Lloydminster’s rock radio station, 106.1 The Goat in early 2016. Soon after, he came south to Medicine Hat in 2017.
He now works as a digital journalist and radio reporter for CHAT News.
In his time as a staff reporter/photographer for a thrice-weekly newspaper, and now in radio, he has always been looking forward to every day at work, because it is never the same.
When not working out of the CHAT newsroom or chasing a story, you’ll likely find James exploring the local parks on his bike with his camera.
