Mohawks crush Vauxhall 21-0

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat High School Mohawks demolished the defending league champions on the baseball diamond Thursday night.

Taking on the Vauxhall Vikings, the Mohawks struck early, and cruised to a 21-0 victory in five innings at McCoy Baseball Park.

Ashtyn Street went 4-for-4 at the plate, recording four runs and 5 RBIs. Zach Stark also scored four runs and two RBIs during the game.

The Mohawks exploded in the third inning, scoring 13 runs through the inning.

Travis Small was credited as the winning pitcher during the game, allowing no hits in four innings and striking out seven batters. Dane Weiss pitched one inning of relief, allowing no hits and three strikeouts.

The Mohawks will take on the Vikings  in a rematch on Tuesday in Vauxhall.
