Attention gardeners: seed exchange for those getting ready for spring

MEDICINE HAT, AB. – A few local garden organizations will be sharing information and seeds today at the Police Point Park Nature Centre with a Seedy Saturday Seed Swap event from 1:30pm –3:30 pm.

Gardeners of all experience levels are welcome to bring extra seeds they have for the exchange. If participants don’t have seeds to trade, gardeners are willing to share their extra seeds to help enable those with a green thumb to get ready to plant.

Participants are asked to bring reusable containers or envelopes to take any new seeds home.

The Medicine hat Horticultural Society, Medicine Hat Permaculture Guild, City of Medicine Hat Xeriscaping and Vermicomposting (composting with worms) display will all be at the event.
