Quenneville named to WHL All-Star Team

MEDICINE HAt, AB — David Quenneville is officially a Western Hockey League All-Star.

Quenneville was named to the WHL Eastern Conference First All Star Team by the league on Wednesday. He is the lone Medicine Hat Tiger on the list.

The Edmonton native was the highest scoring defenceman during the regular season, scoring 24 goals and recording 56 assists for 80 points in 70 games.

Also named to the First All Star Team in the Eastern Conference include Lethbridge Hurricanes goaltender Logan Flodell, defenceman Kale Clague and forward Jayden Halbgewachs with the Moose Jaw Warriors and Swift Current Broncos forwards Glenn Gawdin and Aleksi Heopniemi.
