MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers will look to return to their winning ways as they host the Calgary Hitmen tonight at the Canalta Centre. The Tigers are posting a 3-1-1-0 record against the Hitmen and this will be the final meeting between the two Central Division rivals. The Hitmen fell 4-3 to the Prince Albert Raiders in their last game; while the Tabbies were thwarted 5-2 by the Red Deer Rebels.

Medicine Hat Tigers – Ryan Chyzowski is a talented, young forward in his second year with the Tigers. Chyzowski was ranked 160th among North American skaters in the NHL Central Miidterm Rankings. The 17-year-old Kamloops product has a nose for the puck and he is not afraid to mix it up. 

Calgary Hitmen – Conner Chaulk scored two goals including the game winner the last time these two clubs met. Chaulk has 17 points (9 G, 8 A) in 31 games with the Hitmen since being traded from the Swift Current Broncos in November.

In his first year with the Orange and Black, Linus Nassen has been making a name for himself. Hailing from Sweden, Nassen has 26 points in 43 games with the Tigers. The Tabbies blue line also features the towering shut down defenceman Kristians Rubins. Rubins is the first Latvian born player to ever suit up for the Tigers and he has netted 7 goals and 19 assists so far this season.
