CHAT Television, CHAT 94.5 nominated for RTDNA Awards

MEDICINE HAT, AB — CHAT Television and CHAT Radio have been nominated in several categories for the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) Awards in the Prairie region this year.

Nominations for the awards were announced by the RTDNA Thursday night.

CHAT Television is nominated for the Digital Media Award (Small/Medium Market) for its reporting on the windstorm and grass fires on October 17, 2017 on CHAT News Today.

CHAT Television is also nominated for the Sports Feature Reporting Award for Inspiration on Ice, the story of Prince Albert bantam hockey player Nathan Flodell.

In the radio category, CHAT 94.5 FM is nominated for the Charlie Edwards Award for Breaking News, for the coverage of the windstorm and grass fires.
