MEDICINE HAT, AB — Willie Desjardins says he’s proud of his experience at the Winter Olympics.
The coach of Team Canada and former bench boss with the Medicine Hat Tigers guided the men’s hockey team to a bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
Mitch Bach with CHAT Sports sat down with Desjardins during the newscast Thursday night, where he spoke about the challenges of coaching Team Canada, what he learned behind the bench at Pyeongchang and what’s next in his coaching career.
