MEDICINE HAT, AB. – The Sunshine Home and Garden Show saw over 11,000 people through the doors of the Cypress Centre for the three day event.

Paula Stodalka with the Chamber of Commerce said they have had positive feedback from the trade show.

“Exhibitors have been vary happy with the show ,” she said. “People were interested in talking to them, buying products and they’re also looking forward to future purchases and services.”

Stodalka explained they set up the trade show not only to benefit exhibitors but customers as well, especially those looking to do home improvements.

“Landscapers all in the same area,” she said. “If one provides a certain service there is another one close by that provides something else, it’s really that one stop shop for home owners to find those products and services.”

Stodalka said the fall trade show already in the planning phase by the Chamber of Commerce.

“It’s a little bit different than spring,” she said. “We have some new ideas coming forward with that we are always looking to change things up and always working on different exhibitors and new features.”

More information will be available for the fall show later this year on the Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce website.
