COUNTY OF 40 MILE, AB — Alberta Emergency Albert has issued a winter storm alert for the County of 40 Mile.

According to the alert, heavy snowfall and blowing snow are creating hazardous conditions throughout the entire county. Visibility has been reduced as a result of the storm, and many roads in the county are in whiteout conditions.

Travel is not advised until conditions improve, and emergency services may be affected by a delayed response. Crews have been working to clear the roads, but the alert says it could take a couple of days before all roads are cleared.
