Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – Feb 8th

If you do the calculations on the carbon tax, yes, it is $1.88 on $30 of fuel, but my vehicle takes $100 of fuel. So that is about $6 per fill. Now you have to realise that everything that gets transported (your groceries, your fuel, everything you buy!) gets this extra money tacked on by each truck it is brought in on, you soon see how this quickly adds up. Ends up costing a lot more than you think. In this province with all of its resources, there is no need for this tax or a provincial sales tax. The problem is that the government is spending way too much on programs it can’t afford. Too much waste and too much corruption. And before you blame the last conservative government, please note that a lot of the MLA’s weren’t actually conservative; they just ran under that platform to get elected.
Happy Hatter
The Leisure Centre has great fitness classes, not sure why the city doesn’t advertise them more.
Happy Hatter
Happy to see more Canadian products being sold in some Grocery Stores. I much rather have fresh meat and produce from locally producers than from other countries.
Happy Hatter
Love the Olive Oil and Vinegar store in town. Hoping someone will bring a good quality cheese store as well.
