RED DEER, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers will visit the Enmax Centrium in Red Deer to take on their Central Division rival, the Rebels. This will be the fourth meeting between these two clubs this season with the Tabbies winning 2 of the 3 previous meetings. The Tigers will be looking to bounce back after falling 3-2 in overtime to the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday. While the Rebels will also be hungry for the win after losing 3-1 to the Kamloops Blazers.

Williams is a fast, highly skilled forward in his rookie season with the Tigers. The 16-year-old Langley, BC native has great hands, sees the ice well and reacts quickly. Look for Williams to make an impact on the ice for the Tigers. Red Deer Rebels – Mason McCarty has been having a record year for the Red Deer Rebels. The 20-year-old Blackie, AB native has 45 points (22G, 23A) in 44 games this season, including 5 pts (1G, 4A) in 3 games against the Tigers.

In his first year with the Orange and Black, Linus Nassen has been making a name for himself. Hailing from Sweden, Nassen has 22 points in 38 games with the Tigers. The Tabbies blue line also features the towering shut down defenceman Kristians Rubins. Rubins is the first Latvian born player to ever suit up for the Tigers and he has netted 4 goals and 18 assists so far this season.

The Tigers acquired 18-year-old netminder Jordan Hollett from the Regina Pats in the offseason. Hollett is a 6th round selection of the Ottawa Senators and currently he is sporting a 14-11-3 record with a 3.40 GAA and a .897 SV% The Orange and Black also have veteran goaltender Michael Bullion. Bullion has a 10-7-2 record posting a .878 SV% and a 3.43 GAA.
