MEDICINE HAT, AB — The radio landscape will soon be shifting in Medicine Hat.
Rogers Media announced Tuesday that it is acquiring 102.1 CJCY from Clear Sky Media, according to a news release.
Rogers Media already owns 105.3 Rock in Medicine Hat.
The deal is expected to close in the next several months, and it subject to approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.
The acquisition of CJCY gives will give Rogers a total of 55 radio stations across Canada.
