City Council meets for first time in 2018

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat City Council will meet for the first time in 2018 tonight at City Hall.

The agenda for the meeting sees a pair of presentations for councillors. Brad Maynes, general manager for the city’s Natural Gas and Petroleum Division, will speak to council about the division’s budget for 2018 and a possible amendment to the department’s budget.

THRIVE Medicine Hat, an organization with the goal of eliminating poverty in the city, will also speak to city council during the meeting.

Council will discuss the amendment to the Natural Gas and Petroleum Division budget, as well as Inter-Municipal Collaboration between the city, the Town of Redcliff and Cypress County.
