Harvey stops 26 shots for shutout in Huskies’ 3-0 win over Tigres

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Samuel Harvey stopped 26 shots to lead the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies to a 3-0 win over the Victoriaville Tigres in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Thursday night.

Alexis Arsenault, William Rouleau and Peter Abbandonato handled the scoring for Rouyn-Noranda (23-10-4-2), which cemented the victory with two third-period goals.

Tristan Cote-Cazenave made 24 saves for Victoriaville (18-15-3-2).

Earlier, the game between the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and Baie-Comeau Drakkar was postponed due to a severe winter storm. It will be rescheduled at a later date.

 

Islanders 2 Oceanic 1

At Charlottetown, Brett Budgell’s second-period goal proved to be the winner for the Islanders (23-12-2-0). Cameron Askew had the other while Matthew Welsh stopped 29 shots. Soucy Ludovic scored for Rimouski (24-22-4-0). Jimmy Lemay made 28 saves.

 

Armada 5 Saugeneens 4 (OT)

At Boisbriand, Que., Michael Kemp scored in overtime to secure the win for the Armada (26-8-2-0). Alex Barre-Boulet had two goals and an assist in regulation time. Samuel Houde led the way for Chicoutimi (15-19-4-0) with two goals and an assist.
