The Alberta Business Awards of Distinction nominees have been announced, with six local businesses named as finalists for the award.

Temple Fitness was nominated in the Small Business Award of Distinction. Shane Chynoweth, the president of the club, called the nomination an honour, especially as it comes on the 10th anniversary of the gym opening.
