Eight Tigers prospects playing in Mac’s Midget World Invitational Tournament

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Eight Medicine Hat Tigers prospects will be participating in one of the biggest midget AAA tournaments later this month.

Several draft picks will be joining their teams at the 40th annual Mac’s AAA Midget World Invitational Hockey Tournament, which runs from December 26 to January 1.

Representing the Medicine Hat Tigers are 2017 first-round draft pick Garin Bjorklund and Justin Ross with the Calgary Buffaloes, Brett Meerman and Noah Danielson with the Red Deer Chiefs, Nicholas McCarry and Eric Van Impe with the Calgary Northstars, Kadyn Chabot with the Lethbridge Midget AAA Hurricanes and Damon Agyeman with the Airdrie CFR Bisons.

The tournament features 25 male and 15 female teams from across Canada, the United States and Europe.
