Lewis family speaks about release of man convicted of her murder
MEDICINE HAT, AB — The man convicted in the death of Amy Lewis in 2014 is set to be freed this weekend.
According to Joe McFarland and Global News Calgary, Jerrison Stopanski, 39, is eligible for statutory release on Saturday.
Ray Strom, the uncle of Amy Lewis, said the release of Stopanski reminds him of their families loss.
“It brings back memories to the whole situation,” he stated. “The family was very deeply affected by the loss of Amy.”
