BROOKS, AB – Hundreds of families in the Brooks and County of Newell region will be the beneficiaries of the Brooks Bandits’ annual Scotiabank Teddy Bear Toss, coming up on Saturday night, December 9th, at the Centennial Regional Arena.

As always, fans will be invited to toss new teddy bears onto the ice after the Bandits score their first goal, with all donated toys being contributed to the Scotiabank Smiles for Christmas program, helping local families in need.

Fans are invited to bring teddy bears to the game, or, for the second straight year, fans will be able to purchase teddy bears at the game, at $5 for a regular sized bear and $10 for a large bear.

The Bandits will host the Olds Grizzlys at 7:00 PM in a key South division matchup, with tickets available online at tickets.brooksbandits.ca.

The organization would like to thank Scotiabank for their help with and sponsorship of the evening, as well as the Prairie Thunder whose players will assist in cleaning up and collecting the bears on Saturday night.
