MEDICINE HAT, AB — One more game before the MHC Rattlers basketball teams pack it in for the semester.

Feeling fresh and rested after their only bye week, the Rattlers are heading to Briercrest on Saturday to wrap up the first half of the ACAC campaign.

Both clubs have set themselves up for strong second semesters; the men sitting sitting second in the ACAC’s South Conference with a 5-2 record and the ladies only loss of the year coming to SAIT two weeks ago.

But although both Briercrest teams sit in the basement of the South, MHC intends to produce a full 40-minute effort to wrap up on a good note.

CHAT Sports caught up with men’s basketball head coach Rich Humphrey to discuss the success from his squad’s opening semester. Plus, women’s player Morgan Muir sheds light on how the team is staying motivated for the trip to Briercrest, and women’s head coach Clayton Nielsen explains where they must excel in order to leave Briercrest victorious.
