MEDICINE HAT, AB. – The last Local Pop-Up Stores event of the year is taking place on Sunday, November 19 with the ‘Christmas Market’ at the Ross Creek Business Centre located at 851 Industrial Ave SE, Medicine Hat from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Organizer Cali Van Vandewoestyne said this market will be larger than the last, with 25 different businesses taking part.

“There is such a spread of different vendors, people with a variety of interests should come down and be satisfied,” she explained.

The vendors will be selling different products including boutiques, hand-made bath and body stuff, make up, tea and others. Vandewoestyne also said they will have food on site.

“People who are hungry should come down, Pooty’s Poutine is going to be there again serving poutine from 11 until 4,” she said.

There is no admission fee to enter the market said Vandewoestyne but they are encouraging market goers to bring a donation to the food bank.

“We actually have Cheryl Clark photography taking family Christmas pictures for $5 a piece and a portion of those proceeds will go directly to the food bank as well,” she said.

Vandewoestyne said many of the vendors are offering Christmas sales and deals already, making it easier for Hatters to do their holiday shopping.
